Opened in early winter season in the 
                    year of 1998, with the aim of fulfilling the demands of the 
                    Indian food hunters. We serve the authentic Indian food with 
                    the use of the typical Indian spices. 
                  The restaurant has predominantly an Indian 
                    decor surrounded by the wooden carvings on the walls under 
                    a huge dome in the centre. There are silk paintings hanged 
                    on the walls which together depicts the royalty and culture 
                    from the Moghul era. 
                  The menu is quite extensive with the varieties 
                    from all over the India, including the mild- 'Khormas' to 
                    the spicy taste of- 'Vindaloos'. The speciality being the 
                    tandoori dishes, in which the food is grilled inside an earthern 
                    clay pot oven- Tandoor, which is fired with charcoal to give 
                    the actual grill taste. The tandoori meat tikkas (chicken, 
                    mutton or fish) are very tender and succulent, all thanks 
                    to the well marination. The meat comprise of the chicken and 
                    mutton which are 'Halal Meats'- suitable for the Muslim consumption. 
                    Even the Indian breads are grilled inside the Tandoor, which 
                    comprise of Naans, Rotis, Kulchas or Parathas- Should not 
                    miss to taste the stuffed ones. 
                  There is also a vast varieties of vegetables 
                    selections all over the India where a vegetarian will not 
                    go home half-hungry. The rice preparation is also in plenty 
                    to choose from Biryanis to Pulaos which are made from the 
                    special imported world renowned 'Basmati Rice'- the thin long 
                    grained fragrant Indian rice. We also offers a long variety 
                    of sweets from Gulab Jamuns, Rasgullahs to an typically made 
                    Kulfis(Indian Icecreams made and set in clay pots). Another 
                    never miss would be the Lassi, a homemade yoghut drink which 
                    can be served plain, sweet, salted or sweetened with mangoes 
                  Finally to keep you warm is the cup of the 
                    Indian aromatic Masala tea flavoured with cardamoms, cloves 
                    and ginger boiled together with milk and sugar.  |
